Where are you based?

British Textile Studio was born and still remains in Greater Manchester, England. All our stock is held here, and our garments are hand-finished here too.

What materials do you use?

We use our own fabrics that we have developed in-house at our factory. This sets us apart as almost all other brands use fabrics from fabric wholesalers who, in an effort to be as profitable as possible, cut corners and produce fabric that's generally not as good as it could be. We produce our own fabric in house which gives us full control over the quality and result.

What care instruction do you recommend?

This varies from product to product, but using cotton heavy fabrics, we recommend washing the garments inside out at max 30ºC, and air dry instead of tumble drying.

What does "gsm" mean

GSM stands for Grams per Square Meter. It is a measure of fabric weight. The higher the GSM, the heavier the fabric will be. For reference, your average run of the mill hoodie is around 280–350gsm, and your average t shirt is 160–190gsm.

Where do you ship from? And how long does it take?

All our stock is held here in the UK. Specifically Greater Manchester. Shipping generally takes 1-3 days for orders in the UK. 3-7 days for orders in Europe, and 5-10 days for orders in the USA and Canada.
